Bat Walk in the grounds of Castletown House, Celbridge

As part of Heritage Week and in collaboration with Rory Finnegan, Castletown House, join Kildare Bat Group for a fascinating bat walk and talk in the grounds of historic Castletown House. Meandering along the River Liffey and back by the lake, youDaubenton's bat hunting over water will have the opportunity to listen to bats in this beautiful, historic habitat. You will learn more about Irish bat species and their life cycle as the walk progresses.

Details:

  • Please wear appropriate footwear and warm outdoor clothing, wear a hi viz vest and bring a torch.
  • Children under 18 are very welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.
  • Places are limited, so please book early.
