Description

Optimised for One-handed Observation

The Pulsar Wildlife Orni XG35 ushers in a new era for thermal observation.  An ergonomically considered design places a focus wheel in front of the eyepiece, enabling comfortable one-handed operation. Powerful thermal optics, a built-in laser rangefinder, and a wide range of digital features and functionalities make this thermal imaging monocular perfect for a wide range of applications.

Small Footprint, Huge Performance

The Orni XG35 may be palm-sized and light as a feather, but it stands shoulder to shoulder with current high-performance entries in the Pulsar Wildlife range. A highly sensitive 640×480, 12µm, <20mK sNETD thermal sensor, combined with a powerful 35mm f1.0 objective lens, provides remarkable levels of image detail — enabling easy detection and identification at distances reaching up to 1800m.

A large 21.9 m @ 100 m (12.5°) field of view is perfect for searching and scanning, providing a clear view of your surroundings, and a 2.5-20x magnification range and 8x digital zoom allows for closer inspection and enhanced identification.

Digital Image Stabilisation

Digital image stabilisation reduces the effects of camera shake and image blur caused by shaking hands or bumpy terrain, enhancing image quality when scanning the FOV, observing objects and animals at long range, or even observing an object whilst on the move.

Built-in Laser Rangefinder

A seamlessly integrated precision laser rangefinder can be found under the objective lens, providing an incredible 1500m distance measuring range with an accuracy of ±1m, whilst taking up a fraction of the footprint found on other LRF-equipped monoculars. These distance measurements can prove crucial in the field, providing valuable distance data and allowing you to make informed decisions.

Optimised for One-handed Use

The Orni XG35’s focus wheel is located just in front of the viewfinder, allowing for one-handed focus adjustments and ushering in a new era of single-handed thermal observation. A four-button arrangement has been ergonomically considered to achieve comfortable operation, offering control over all of the most commonly used digital functions without excessive button presses.

An ambidextrous wrist strap and symmetrical design enables comfortable left- or right-handed operation, and haptic feedback will provide a short vibration when a button is pressed — confirming or alerting you to any button presses.

Dual Battery System

Equipped with Pulsar’s innovative dual-battery system, the Orni combines an internal rechargeable battery with a removeable, rechargeable APS5 battery for up to 12 hours of uninterrupted power distribution. Both batteries will display their charge percentage on-screen, allowing for accurate power monitoring. Each battery can be charged via the USB-C port.

Built-in Video Recording

Built-in recording with audio and still image capture ensures memorable moments are stored to the device’s generous 64GB of internal memory at the press of a button. These images can then be downloaded via a USB-C connection or through the Wild Vision app, where they can be shared with friends or to social media.

Wild Vision App

Connect the Orni to the NEW Wild Vision app from Pulsar Wildlife via an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet and discover a wide range of connectivity features, including:

  • The ability to use your mobile phone or tablet as a wireless remote to control and adjust the device’s settings, with all the changes made on your device’s screen visible in real-time. This feature also allows for remote recording of footage or capturing of still images.
  • A gallery of photos and videos captured on the device that can be browsed through and downloaded. These videos and images can also be shared easily.
  • The ability to remotely update the device’s firmware, meaning users can enjoy all the latest features and ensure the Orni XG35 is always running to the best of its ability.
