Bat Conservation Ireland is delighted to announce the establishment of grant funding for bat-related research, conservation and events in Ireland. The deadline for 2016 applications has been extended to May 23rd to facilitate those seeking funding. There are four separate types of funding available, funding for bat groups, Irish-based bat researchers, funding for events and finally for carrying out bat conservation work.
