In brief: ‘1998 was the year Vincent Wildlife Trust acquired its first Irish lesser horseshoe bat reserve and today the twelve buildings under its care are roosting sites for approximately 4,000 horseshoe bats. In this talk, Kate will describe these roosts and the variety of skills (not always zoological!) the she has used over the years in order to provide these bats with the perfect roosting conditions.’
Registration for this talk is now open – please book your place through the ticket system below.
Our Thursday Talks are in aid of bat rehabbers in Ireland. We kindly ask for a nominal donation of €5 for members and €10 for non-members to attend this talk. Please feel free to make a larger donation to support the essential work of bat rehab, if you so wish.
