Mad about bats – bats and science

Join Kildare Bat Group for a unique event this Heritage Week at the Irish National Stud & Gardens, from 10am – 12pm on Monday 18th August! Learn about bat habitats, how they are affected by their environment, light and sound, and much more.

These are interactive workshops for small groups, ideal for kids aged 8 – 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult, with max two children per adult. Tickets are free, and do not grant access to the Irish National Stud & Gardens before or after the event – general admission can be bought separately. The event runs from 10am – 12pm with a range of activities to take part in and learn all about bats!

The event is run in conjunction with the National Heritage Council, Bat Conservation Ireland, Kildare Bat Group and the Irish National Stud & Gardens. Booking is essential to secure your place!
