We warmly welcome children on bat walks and talks in the company of their parent or guardian but training and surveys are not suitable for children. For events that include an outdoor element please wear warm clothing and suitable footwear.
Karen Healy, Projects Coordinator, with Bat Conservation Ireland will take you through what plants are bat friendly and will help to encourage bat activity in your garden! She will go through why gardens are important for bats, how you can improve and manage a garden for bats and what plants and shrubs will help encourage more bat activity in your garden.
This will be an online event, so is open to everyone to attend from the comfort of your own home.
