Canal Bat Walk and Talk, Edenderry, Co. Offaly

As part of Heritage Week and in association with the Biodiversity Officer in Offaly County Council, join Kildare Bat Group for a fascinating bat walk and talk along the canal at Edenderry. As part of this bat walk and talk, you will have the opportunity to listen to bats, along with learning more about Irish bat species and their life cycle as the walk progresses.

Details:

  • Please wear appropriate footwear and warm outdoor clothing, wear a hi viz vest and bring a torch.
  • Children under 18 are very welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.
  • Places are limited, so please book early.
