BATLAS 2020 Training Course

August 11, 2017 @ 9:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Free

Bat Conservation Ireland needs YOUR help to map Ireland’s bats! Please feel welcome to come along on a free evening training course for the BATLAS 2020 scheme.

Training involves an indoor presentation followed by an outdoor survey that aims to identify the five target bat species.

BATLAS training and surveys are suitable for people who already have some experience of bat surveying, but who want to gain experience in identifying more species and survey in new locations. Examples might be volunteers who have already completed Daubenton’s waterways training and surveys.

Please wear sturdy footwear, outdoor clothing. Bring your bat detector and a torch.

Thanks to Ards and North Down Borough Council for supporting BATLAS 2020.
