We warmly welcome children on bat walks and talks in the company of their parent or guardian but training and surveys are not suitable for children. For events that include an outdoor element please wear warm clothing and suitable footwear.
Join Ger O’Donohoe from Galway Bat Group who will introduce you to Irish bat species of Galway and take you on a bat walk. Using bat detectors you can listen in on their ultrasonic calls and try to spot these elusive creatures in flight.
