Bat Walk

Join Kildare Bat Group at NUI Maynooth, for a batty fun-filled evening! At 9.30pm at the walled garden meet Anna Collins who will lead a bat walk on the University Campus. Using bat detectors you can listen in on their ultrasonic calls and watch these elusive creatures in flight. Anna will describe some of the Irish species and their life cycle as the walk progresses.

This event is free and open to all. It is being held as part of Biodiversity Week 2019. Co-organisers are Maynooth Tidy Towns, NUI Maynooth Green Campus, Maynooth Men’s Shed.

Please wear sturdy footwear and warm outdoor clothing and bring a torch. Children welcome if accompanied by an adult. No dogs.
