This one day course organised by CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecologists and Environmental Managers) and delivered by Emma Boston, will introduce bat impact assessments and demonstrate how to assess impact for various development types, including residential developments, roads or other large infrastructure projects and wind farms.
Delegates will explore the measures currently available to mitigate the impact of development in line with current legislation, using presentations, question and answer sessions and case studies of bat mitigation and enhancements appropriate for a variety of bat species.
In the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to work through and discuss example scenarios in groups.
