Ennis Bat Safari

Barry O’Loughlin, Biodiversity Officer at Clare County Council and Bat Conservation Ireland have teamed up to organise a unique event starting with an outdoor bat quiz, kids activities, and bat talk.  When the sun goes down, the fun will begin! We will explore the woodland using special bat detecting equipment to let you ‘hear’ bats as they fly by.

Please note:

– Attendees will receive more information about the event via email including meeting point.

– Children must be accompanied and supervised by their parent/guardian at all times.

– Please wear strong footwear and a warm, waterproof coat.

– In the event of heavy rain or high winds, the event will be rescheduled.
