SUMMARY:Biodiversity Week Bat Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us and discover the world of bats in your locality! We will use bat detectors to listen in to their night time sounds watch them in flight. For this walk we will be at the shore of Lough Ramor @ 9.30 pm. Meet adjacent to the car park of Virginia College (Secondary School). \nAll are welcome\, children must be accompanied by an adult. Warm clothing and outdoor footwear is recommended. Bring a torch. \nBat Walks are approximately 1.5 hrs long. Events with a bat talk\, are 2 hrs long. \nBat Conservation Ireland has been supported by the Irish Environmental Network in running this event.
