DESCRIPTION:Join us at Muckno\, Co. Monaghan for a batty fun-filled evening! At 8.00pm Tina Aughney of Bat Conservation Ireland will lead a bat walk in the area. Using bat detectors you can listen in on their ultrasonic calls and watch these elusive creatures in flight. Tina will describe some of the Irish species and their life cycle as the walk progresses. \nThe exact location of this bat walk will be updated shortly. \nThis event is free and open to all. It is being held as part of Heritage Week 2019. \nPlease wear sturdy footwear and warm outdoor clothing and bring a torch. Children welcome if accompanied by an adult.
