DESCRIPTION:Explore the secret soundscape of the night forest presented by composer Fiona Linnane and the Limerick Bat Group\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\nThis family friendly event\, suitable for all ages\, will begin with a creative session exploring active listening lead by composer Fiona Linnane and the Limerick Bat Group. We will be exploring how we can learn to really tune in to the sounds around us and respond to them in a creative way\, including the calls of the bats of Curraghchase. All materials will be provided. Suitable for all ages. \nYou will then be invited to explore a new installation among the trees. Wander the path and listen to the stories of all things batty from Limerick Bat Group and composer Fiona Linnane. You may even hear the weird and wonderful call of the charismatic Lesser Horseshoe! \nThis is an outdoor event so wear suitable clothing and footwear. Suitable for all ages but some walking involved. \nLocation: Curraghchase Forest Park\, Curraghchase\, Co.
