DESCRIPTION:Come and join Kildare Bat Group and The Irish Peatland Conservation Council (IPCC) on a bat walk! You will have the opportunity to see bats in flight and listen in on their calls using bat detectors. You may also be lucky enough to see bats emerge from a roost just after dusk. \nChildren are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing. Bring a torch if you have one. \nThis event is being organised as part of IPPC Biodiversity Week.

DESCRIPTION:Anna Collins of the Kildare Bat Group will lead a talk & walk to Lullymore West where you will hear all about bats and listen in on their calls. \nChildren are very welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Bring a torch. \nThis is one of several summer guided public wildlife events being held by the Irish Peatland Conservation Council during the weekend of July 15th and 16th.
