Making A Purchase
To order from our online shop, simply browse our products, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout ” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. Once your order is processed and the transaction is authorised, the payment is debited from your credit card and the order will be shipped within 3-5 working days. All transactions are processed by PayPal.
Workshop/Seminar/Conference Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation more than 2 weeks prior to the event – 10% cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 2 weeks and more than 48 hours prior to event – 50% cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 48 hours or no notice or no show on day – 100% cancellation fee
All prices are quoted in Euro on online shop and include all applicable taxes. Bat Conservation Ireland reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Prices quoted in the online shop exclude delivery charges. Delivery charges are added to the cart total prior to checkout. Irrespective of any price changes you will be charged the price which was quoted for the item when you ordered. We reserve the right to cancel a transaction if checks of unit price/total do not match our RRP at the time of order or if we suspect that any form of tampering has occurred.
Online Store Cancellations & Refunds
If you are unhappy with any of your purchases please contact us within 7 days of receipt by email and advise us that you are returning the goods. We will give you a full refund provided that the items you wish to return are unused, complete and in re-saleable condition. Goods which are returned for a refund must be returned with the invoice. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Where any valid claim in respect of any goods sold by Bat Conservation Ireland which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to meet specification is notified to Bat Conservation Ireland, Bat Conservation Ireland shall be entitled to replace the goods (or the part in question) free of charge or, at the sole discretion of Bat Conservation Ireland, refund the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price), but Bat Conservation Ireland shall have no further liability to the purchaser.
If any item is damaged or defective on receipt please contact us by email and then return the item for a refund or replacement. The cost of sending returns will be borne by the purchaser except in the case where the purchaser is returning goods that arrived damaged or defective. Please address returns to:

Exclusion of Warranty
Subject to the paragraph below, Bat Conservation Ireland makes no warranty or representation as to the quality of any goods sold or their fitness for a particular purpose or their conformity with any description or sample and Bat Conservation Ireland shall not be responsible for damage or loss of any kind whatsoever (including loss of profits and consequential damages) caused directly or indirectly by the goods supplied.
Consumer Protection: The exemptions from the provisions of Sections 13, 14 and 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1893 (“the 1893 Act”) (as inserted by Section 10 of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 (“the 1980 Act”) contained in Clause 9.1 shall, in all cases other than a contract for the international sale of goods (as defined in the 1980 Act) be subject to the restrictions on such exemptions contained in Section 55(4) of the 1893 Act (as inserted by Section 22 of the 1980 Act).
